Forget Your FOMO: 25 Reasons HROs Must Attend PrismHR LIVE 2025

You may be wondering if this year’s PrismHR can top last year’s music-to-your-ears LIVE event in Nashville.

Well … just watch us!

PrismHR LIVE comes to Orlando, Florida, for the first time, and this year’s event is primed to be the most thrilling event in our history highlighted by an epic evening at the Universal Islands of Adventure theme park. There’s also a jaunt to Disney Springs as we talked about in our previous blog.

While fun in the sun can never be outdone, we’re sure this year’s PrismHR LIVE program will have something that everyone can get excited about.

We know that getting to meet up with friends and colleagues in person and having fun is a huge part of why people love attending PrismHR LIVE, but there’s so much more to the event than that. Let’s find out …

Here are 25 reasons HROs must attend PrismHR LIVE in Orlando.

Kick It Off Right

1. The Welcome: As always, we encourage you to get to PrismHR LIVE on Sunday so you can enjoy our Welcome Reception. And don’t forget to register and get your swag as well!

Taking place in Exhibit Hall F on Level 1 of the conference hotel, there will be great food and beverage options—and there’s always surprises you won’t want to miss. And why should the good times end after the party? We’ll be providing shuttle service to Disney Springs where adventure and fun awaits!

Day One

Get to Exhibit Hall F on Level 1 between 7:30 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. ET for a hearty breakfast, and then make your way to the General Session (8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m.), which takes place in the Coastal Ballroom (A-D) on Level 3.

2. When Kevin Talks … There will be some great entertainment to get you pumped up for the day, and you’ll get to hear from PrismHR President Kevin Andrews and other PrismHR leaders about the new technology and roadmap to help your business grow. There will be some surprises, too, that you won’t want to miss.

3. Disney Magic at LIVE? Right after the General Session, Duncan Wardle, the former head of innovation and creativity at the Walt Disney Co., will deliver the conference’s first keynote. Duncan, who is a TED speaker, worked with Imagineering, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Pixar and Disney Parks. You won’t want to miss this one. Mouse ears optional.

4. Howdy, Partners: After Duncan’s presentation, there will be a short break where you can check out all the new tech in the Discovery Studio and meet with many of our great Marketplace partners, including the past five Partners of the Year—Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions (2024), Guardian Life (2023), ZayZoon (2022), Equifax (2021) and Mineral (2020)—in the Expo Hall.

Sessions, Day One

5. Innovation Is a Sensation: It’s no surprise that PrismHR’s focus has been on innovation to help you and your clients succeed, so what better way to start the conference sessions than with one focused on just that. At 11 a.m., Scott Cormier, PrismHR’s vice president of product management, and Rob Byers, PrismHR’s director of product management, will discuss PrismHR innovation focusing on the top new features designed for customer growth and client retention (Suwannee 1-4, Level 2).

Afterward, you’ll want to venture back to Exhibit Hall F for some fine food for lunch. The Discovery Studio will also be open for business, so come by and say hi to the folks who help turn your great ideas into future PrismHR updates. What are you hoping to see in a future release?

6. Your Roundtable Awaits: There are several sessions planned for after lunch, including a couple of cool roundtable discussions starting at 1 p.m. focused on Payroll & Compliance (Suwannee 1-4, Level 2), Benefits (Lafayette 1-3, Level 2 ) and ClientSpace (Desoto 1-4, Level 2).

7. AI, Need We Say More? After another short break, Scott Cormier and Rob Byers return to Suwannee 1-4 to talk about those two letters that are on the tip of everyone’s tongue these days: AI. Scott and Rob will offer an exclusive preview of PrismHR innovations currently in development that showcase the potential of AI-powered employee experiences, service provider efficiency and business intelligence.

8. Get Onboard: Onboarding more on point for you? We got you covered. At this session, you’ll learn how Onboarding is transforming the new-hire experience with a more intuitive, modernized approach.

9. Put in the Work: At the same time, Taylor Caldwell, PrismHR’s product manager for Time & Labor Management, will discuss Workforce Management, which was one of our much-anticipated launches in 2024, and it’s just gotten better and better since (Desoto 1-4, Level 2).

10. A Better Experience, Payroll and Otherwise: At 3:30 p.m., Kent Seith, PrismHR’s principal product manager, will talk about how employee experience drives growth and retention (Suwannee 1-4, Level 2) while Gwen Lemming, a PrismHR product manager, and Dawn Payn, a PrismHR product analyst, show you how you can power up your payroll with advanced features (Desoto 1-4, Level 2).

How do you reach your sales potential? By following proven methods that Rick and Phil will share with you at LIVE (Lafayette 1-3, Level 2). Stop by to hear them tell it like it is—or should we say “sell” it like it is?

12. Universal Appeal: The day ends with an unforgettable evening event at the Castillo de San Marcos Fort located in the hotel atrium with buses scheduled to leave for Universal Studios at 6 p.m. to help you wand down. Oops. We mean wind down after a great day.

13. Execupay Is on the Way

Did you know you’ll probably see some new faces at this year’s conference? That’s because, for the first time, customers from Execupay, one of PrismHR’s affiliated companies focused on HCM technology for Payroll Service Bureaus and Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), will be at LIVE. You’ll get to make some new friends at general sessions and events, and there will be several separate talk tracks dedicated to HCM business models for those audiences.

Sessions, Day Two

Casey’s Up to Bat: Start your day off right with a breakfast with National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) President and CEO Casey Clark (Coastal Ballroom 1-2 – Level 3) at 7:30 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. Get energized for the day as Casey shares the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in the PEO space. 15. Tell a Great Story, Make a Great Sale: At 8:30 a.m., Rick Torrence returns to the stage (Lafayette 1-3, Level 2) to explain how tech plus services equals a winning sales strategy. In this session, Rick will discuss how to craft a sales strategy that tells a unified story about cutting-edge technology, your unique approach to services and your strategic expertise. You don’t have to be Hemmingway to tell a great story; you just need to a good start, middle and end for your tale.

16. The Tax Men Cometh and Talketh: At the same time, you’ll get your first chance to hear from Neil DeLucia, PrismHR’s enterprise sales manager for PrismHR Tax, as well as Scott Guenther, managing shareholder at State Tax Solutions. Jackson based on the true story of how Coach Carter prioritized grades over field goals—will take us home with an inspiring presentation focused on winning in life. Talk about ending with a “swish” at the buzzer.

The Venue Itself

25. This Must Be the Place: The Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center is built for fun with its own waterpark. It also has a fun scavenger hunt where you can help the Justice League solve the Riddler’s puzzles. Each evening, there’s a Justice Light Show in the atrium where you might get to spot a superhero, too. There’s also wildlife encounters and even an augmented reality wildlife experience where you can bump into and take pictures with all kinds of endangered animals.

Looking for relaxation, the Relâche Spa offers many great options so you can pamper yourself.
